A compilation of images taken at Anime Boston 2012. It has been a little over two weeks since the convention ended and I still miss it! These shots are especially splendid for the detail on the lights and texture in the shadow arm.
Edit: Tokyopop featured this costume on their Facebook page! I'm spazzing over this; I've been a fan since I used to buy manga from them way back in the late '90s when they were Mixx Comics. That's amazing! [link]

how did you made the arm with the red bubbles

I made the arm by starting with a stretchy glove base.Β The glove reached just below my elbow, although it would've been a bit easier if it went past the elbow.Β I then cut out foam rubber into jagged shapes and layered them, then used LED lights in round casings to create the eyes, painted just a bit to create the cat-eye look.

This is so wicked! Just couldn't stand waiting for the english dubs anymore, not after seeing Blood Seras in person :0p, I'm finally up to speed on the OVAs. God help whoever goes after the people she cares about now! Seras is not to be underestimated!!!

It's a shame that the dubs haven't been released yet because the voices are just amazing in it! I'm making a point to re-watch the OVAs once 5-9 get dubbed.
I'm glad you ended up watching the OVAs regardless, though; the later episodes are AMAZINGLY intense... they take your heart and keep it pumping through the whole experience!
What you said about Seras is true! She is underestimated in the beginning because she's so full-hearted and innocent, but you see hints here and there that she isn't to be messed with. In the later episodes, you learn why.
