Forged in the heat of talent!
This shot was taken by Tim during Amira's double-sword dance as Xena: Warrior Princess. She's amazing! It was an honor to help make her costume.

Special thanks for this costume go to our good friend ~KadajShinRa . She saved the day by adding some of the finishing touches (brads, lacings, and eyelets) when ~RikusWorld and I were busy making last minute fittings for the dress and armor the night before the performance. I've only been to two conventions ConnectiCon and Anime Boston. ConnectiCon was amazing and soooo much better than AB 2009.

As much as I admire the costume, I can't stop seeing the two swords as a pair of scissors trained at her neck.
(The impression is not so strong in the fullsized picture but quite striking in the tumbnail.)
Still, a nicely done costume and the dancer looks the part of the warrior princess.

That's so awsome... There's a small restaurant near where I live and they have belly-dancers that come out a couple times a week during the summer months. One dancer inperticular does the same kind of dance with swords, its quite the site to see!
