I only make a big deal about something anatomically incorrect. If Renamon is anthropomorphic, her tail would come out at her lower back, above her buttocks, not in-between. Like, if you look at a X-ray of a human skeleton, our spine ends at our lower backs, like we would evolve to have tails. Some people are born with tails, but they usually end up in stuff like Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not, and have their tails amputated after birth.

I like these tutorials, but I don't think Renamon has buttocks. At least her creator didn't give her any.

If you think about it, anatomically speaking, almost all mammals have a butt. If Renamon is able to standing upright like a human, then she needs those muscles that attach to her thigh. If she's able to sit, then there should be some fat on that portion to cushion her bones and weight. Depending on the length of her fur of course, it may not be seen explicitely. She's mostly a 2d character, the artist/producer will most not want anything suggestive in the anime... but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. XD Anyway I only said that because I've seen so many drawings where her tail juts out at hip level yada yada...

If it has animal legs, then it doesn't have human buttocks.
Wouldn't that look weird on a fox? Not to mention it would mess up the position of the tail.

You are forgetting that renamon was made in anthropormorphic form, with hips that mimic human/ape posture. The hip girdle will have to change to suit her stance: this means more muscles behind the thigh bones to keep her standing erect, spine vertical to the ground, as opposed to on all fours in normal foxes where the spine is horizontal to the ground.

Why the HELL do you want to argue over a tutorial that's 4 years old, over something as basic as muscle anatomy VS the limits of 2-D cell animation and fur obscurement?
The muscles groupings in renamon's hip-thigh region are most probably the same as human ones. There is no wolf who can walk upright because it is limited by its hip/spine connection. We've seen renamon sitting down in human-like fashion, with no weight resting on her legs/feet. This means she needs the fat padding around the gluteus muscles or she wouldn't be able to sit down and would have to put her weight on her feet. (ie, no sitting on telephone wires, walls or even on the wooden floor of Rika's home)

Maybe only secretly-guilty perverts make that big a deal over something that is anatomically correct, but probably hidden under her fur (the same way baggy pants hide both male and female butt folds). I don't insist on drawing her (or it) with boobs. I added in this part because it made basic anatomical sense regardless of gender, and would help beginners understand the more prominant muscle masses.

Of course, wherever we see Renamon with a butt we see breasts as well, usually, if you get my point.
