The shortest tails I have made are keychain ones seen here: More Yarn Tail Key Chains
Right now I'm working on a bear tail(really thick base so it isnt as thine as a keychain) that is 7 inches. The shortest tail I can probably do is about 6 inches since it's hard to layer the fluffs any shorter

I'd love to see that tail when it's done because I have a character with a short, deer-ish like tail.

hopefully ill have it done soon. I just need to sew a few more things onto it but i always forget about it. If you want a tail that short, its usually best to have it really thick(not the ones on this sheet ) and I would probably discount it by a few because of that. I can always give you a quote once I get updates finished :3

I do, but there is always a risk to sending it through the mail as it may get lost. If you're willing to take the risk then I do offer 5% off the tail price since I wouldnt have to deal with paypal and the fee(so if you ever want a quote for a tail and you're sending the money through the mail then tell me so i can give you an accurate quote) c:

by the way, have you ever use just plan wool, thats not been spun? it seems like it would be a bit less work?Β

I looooove bear tails! IΒ have always wanted to make a red panda tail lol, I might try that after I get done with my deer and snowleopard tail :3 I started getting into realistic tails x3
I use 100% acrylic cause wool doesn work well. I've tried something similar to unspun. It's hard to do because the "breakage point" is different at each point so it would just make a mess and some other stuff that is hard to explain D:

I want small round ones with tuff at the top lol. I like alligator clips myself I find headbands don't fit the shape of my head comfortably and never stay on long I end up just using bobby pins to pin them to my hair anyways.
