Description
Another final project in college, from 2010 autumn.Sorry it looks a little blurry in full-view.
It was slightly arranged in Photoshop to make the right side transparent.
A crow holding a cross, feathers flying around and a somewhat twisted background. All pretty much done at random.
At the end, I started to think the crow somehow ressembles me. Dark, yet on the good side (represented by the cross) Despite loosing feathers I still hold my cross!
Mediums: Graphite pencils, feathers and china ink.

I did not understand the deeper meaning at first until I read your comment. It looks very good i think. the crow is very well drawn and detailed. The cross piece looks very shiny and has a good sense of weight and balance. The background is also fitting for the scene and I like the twisted spiral feel. The black and grays is the most fitting style I could think of for such a piece and i must say you executed this very well.
