This is a scene that is based of the video game The Quarry, and one of the scenes that happens in one of the chapters (Spoilers below!)

In that chapter, depending on your choices, Ryan and Dylan get attacked by one of the monsters in the radio shack, and Dylan will end up getting bit in the hand and will end up getting infected. Ryan is then given a choice of either not doing anything and letting the infection spread, or amputate the hand with a chainsaw in order to prevent the spread! D:
(I picked the amputation option, Dylan my boi im so sorry ;w; )

Here is a recreation of that scene, with human versions of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia

During their last night at Camp Everfree, Vinyl, Octavia and several of the other camp consolers are being hunted and stalked by a mysterious creature. With no phone signal, the 2 decide to make an improvised SOS message using the camps radio tower. However during this, the creature attacks!
Vinyl's hand gets heavily damaged, and she notices she has an infection, that is rapidly spreading to her body. Let with no other choice, she and Octavia get desperate, and has Octavia cut off Vinyl's hand with a nearby chainsaw...
