The episodes that have a misery (Imp) are:
Hercules and the big kids: it has a Imp/demon called doubt
Hercules and the spring of canthus: it has a baby Imp (aka it just shows what happeneds when fountain of youth water hits and turns an Imp into a baby baby pain is a chubby boi~ and panic has to take care of him~ little brother becomes the big brother (pain is older than panic by 3 years in my headcon)
Hercules and the green eyed monster: we meet pandora and the misery imps in her box mainly jealousy (must watch the episode and go on the Disney wiki on Pandora to see the others in her gallery)
And Hercules and the tuff on Olympus: neurosis’s episode and he is they only Imp that Hercules trusts
Also if you want watch Hercules and the underworld take over to watch panic kick the shit out of a winged wolf and pain deliver a baby sheep
The series shows a lot of info on pain and panic however not their origin like how they met hades and work for him...^^,

Mine for pain and panic is they are hades’s sons and heirs to the underworld but it’s a long story so you wish to here it as it has some OCs and etc. Aka mature subject

Hmmmm maybe. For me I picture the idea of old Greek mythology of Hades making them from other souls or from bones.

(I’m using human years....for immoral years I just do this and this is how the Greek gods and goddesses plus Titian’s and miseries do age example 1 is 100 or 18 is 1800)
Hades when he was 18 was dating a misery/titan hybrid named plague who was the daughter of typhon and the misery sorrow (after a drunk party). Misery plague’s half father didn’t like plague and hades relationship especially when hades wanted to make plague the first queen of the underworld. When plague got pregnant with pain and panic misery angered that plague was pregnant raped her in hopes the kids would take some of his looks and etc.
After she was raped plague fled as she couldn’t stand misery’s abuse and fled as her ‘father’ told hers that plague was pregnant with children of Zeus making hera wanna help him get revenge..
As imps are hermaphrodites having shapeshifting and healing abilities, they also depending on how much she eats and gets nutrients is how long she will be pregnant for, and then imps give birth in litters of 1-4 and sometime babies one at one time and wait another month as the next baby will be developing. Anyway so she found a kind village that let her in as she was eating for only one baby and her and she gave birth to pain in the village.
After 3 years plague got enough nutrients to feed her two other babies inside her waiting to develop, she then gave birth to panic and neurosis on pains birthday the same time too making them triplets, plague however realized she couldn’t be on the run with three children...so she had a chose a baby to give to her mother sorrow to raise....she gave neurosis as he has mostly misery’s DNA it was the hardest thing she had to do...
A year later misery found where plague had been hiding with her children and attacked the village, plague told 4 year old pain to flee into the woods with 1 year old panic which he did as plague had to fight her ‘father’ to try to save the villagers that been so kind to her
When pain got to the forest he turned just in time to see his mother get impelled by a spear by misery ‘killing’ her, when misery spotted pain. Pain teleported him and panic away as implying only learn to teleport at 7 years of age.
Pain teleported him and panic to closer to Athens where he made a promise to his mom that he would protect panic till they found hades who plague told to find if anything happened to her as hades promised her not knowing plague was actually pregnant with his kids (they were at a Olympus party and got drunk).
After 3 years pain now 7 with 4 year old panic they found the underworld and snuck on the boat of the dead only to get caught but when hades came to see what was wrong, he saw panic had plague’s eyes and pain had plague’s nose and hair colour and keeping his promise he made to plague he became pain and panic’s father.
However hades when he found out pain could teleport at 4 and panic could fly at 4 he was curious on who/what their father was but he didn’t care he had to care for plague’s children like he promised....
Then pain fell into the pool of forgetfulness hades and he fates tried to fix what they could with the pool of memory but it brought back pain’s memories but he now was slight slow aka has dumb moments a lot
Hades got Cerberus as a pet for both imps (which is canon seriously hades got Cerberus because the imps wanted a puppy)
Hades started to abuse pain and panic because of a curse misery put on hades when he found out hades found plague’s children but if he had over done it even with pain and panic older if he sees pain or panic bleeding or crying or had a broken limb after he flamed them or lost his temper he would drop everything to heal them up and comfort them as if damage done by an immortal takes longer for a Imp to heal from
So basically when hades found out during his trial on Olympus for the Titan accident that pain and panic were is son’s it startled everyone especially hera and Zeus and they dropped hades charges as hera helped misery find plague to ‘kill’ her allowing hera to curse plague till her children and misery’s ‘kill’ misery. But pain and panic still need punishment for turning Hercules mortal in which Zeus and hades would talk about. After they freed sorrow, pandora and all of miseries kids from misery’s abuse with the help of the Titian’s
Basically hades is a single father (till meeting persephone who merges with plague till they find plague’s body which misery hid) raising a bunch of imps especially his own who are getting used to their god (pain and panic plus neurosis) and Titan and misery powers
Also after plague was cursed she gave birth while in her father’s care to paranoia and hope pain and panic’s and neurosis little brother and sister and the miseries and pandora’s Half little brother and sister
A few months lather hades and Zeus agreed for the imps punishment and that was since imps can have multiple mates: one of Zeus’s kids become mates with pain and panic which hose kids are Hermes (as he grew up with pain and panic) and Pegasus (because pain said he was attracted to Pegasus)
And that’s my headcon for pain and panic’s story...
Yes it has a lot of OC’s like plague, misery, hope, Paranoia, sorrow etc.

Right. For me I think it would have been that hades couldnt rule the underworld all on his own so he created the imps from the deceased bones, each one based on how the person died or was.
