It's a male you say? I know female tigers (although siberian ones) can get almost addicted to being caressed by humans up to the point of forgetting their meal or even their crying youngs (An unexperienced keeper in the lissabon zoo got scheduleded for the tigers but by accident without an older colleague to oversee her. Both tigers were raised by humans so you could enter the area but that's pretty much all she knew. She ended up petting the tiger mother for hours placing both tiger babys in the danger of dehydration because their mother kept shoving them away to not be disturbed getting caressed. Luckily the vet came by and noticed it.) But I've never heard it about male tigers.
I suggest you keep it up as long as possible since this is something you will treasure all your life and it will give you some insights you can't get any other way. Working with animals is always nice but cats are something special, no matter if small or large.

Lucky you, I got to play with two tiger cubs once. They where... so hyper and playful which was pretty painful. He looks so soft. ;w;

Very pretty tiger though, but I've heard that white tigers are actually a genetic weakness that is man-made. I dunno about Bengal tigers though, is he natural?
