This isn't nearly as cool as the Color Net, in my opinion, but it was interesting to do nonetheless. One thing I like about these nets is that the color depth changes when the image is smaller or you are farther away, etc.

Oh, yes. Each layer is done by hand and copy/pasted three times to form the base for the next layer, which will be done by hand and copy/pasted again three times, which is how we end up with 4^5 purple nets, 4^4 blue nets, 4^3 green nets, 4^2 yellow nets, 4 orange nets, and 1 red net.

2/3/09 I just found out there's a webcomic called MS Paint Adventures. The world is a silly place.
The hardest part is always in getting the grid to line up properly and having everything properly squared (I actually messed up here, so it wasn't as perfect as I'd have liked it to be, but after several hours of working on it, I wasn't prepared to go back yet again once I had everything aligned right. Altogether, the project took about... 5 hours?

I switched up to 2 pixel width for the orange nets and 3 pixel width 'cause they weren't showing up properly and getting lost among the nets closer to the base.
