Thanks Ash! Yes, I stopped by at St. Paul's late in the afternoon when it was almost finished but I was quite lucky to get some meaningful shots of the procession as there were still a large crowd milling about.

As for the late Baroness, I can't say I remember much of the days of her influence in Liverpool as she was a bit ahead of my time (or cutting into my early childhood years) As far as I know, my parents, their friends and I suppose most of the crowd here did not appreciate it when Liverpool was subjected to the brunt of her Tory antics, to say the least. She certainly left a lasting imprint, for better or for worse.

Yes I understand there. I was born during her time as PM but I was born in West London, it wasn't only the north she caused a lot of problems for. Some of my relatives lost jobs because of her antics too.
I can understand why your family and their friends feel quite ill feeling about her and the way she just gave up on Liverpool. It was a real shame that she did that.
