Edit: Changed a few details...This work I started working on after finishing my latest stock photoshoot at *mizzd-stock and it took me untill today to finish (10 days to be exact)..
This year I am more demanding of myself, and I won't upload works I don't feel I really succeeded with.. I guess thats how it goes when you evolve art wise, you demand more of yourself with each art work..

The only thing that confuses me, however, is that it looks like there are multiple light sources? Not really 100% sure but I can't seem to figure out where all the heavy and soft lighting are coming from.

yes that is true.. I even considered adding something glowy in the direction where she is looking towards, but it kinda ruined it, so maybe the source of the light is outside of the frame of what you see

What about the papyrus? It could be the glowy papyrus of infinite knowledge and truth
And I forgot to say it before, don't know why, but the runic on the stone looks beautiful and so natural. Were you going in the Germanic direction with them since they have the curves that the Elder Futhark lacks?

Thank you, its a runestone in Sweden that I photographed a couple of years back.. It's a one that the historics are uncertain of because the rune texting is hard to translate and seem to be making little sense, but its an old original so there must be some sense to it
WE've just yet to figure it out

yeah I have photos of a few that we saw on our trips to Norway and Sweden, and the famous 'Jellinge Stone' about King Harald 'who christened all of Denmark' as it says, is here in denmark
I am really fond of runestones, long barrows and especially the Petroglyphs (rock engravings), its really intense seing those
