The story is as simple as true... it talks about someone who doesn't expect anything, and stumbles in what he maybe was waiting for, but hadn't the courage to admit to himself... sometimes things just happen.

Costume party setting with Frank the rabbit, and a girl who could be Lara Croft dancing away...? Awesome detail in the background, and the black and whiteness is great. I like your drawing style, and I think the composition on this is particularly cool - the angles and the layers of people with the focus very definitely on the fellow with the awesome sideburns.
If I was a guy, I would so have sideburns like that.

Yup, you got almost them all: Frank, and that's Lara, indeed! Moreover there's a Red Hat girlie with her wolfie pendant, Sadako hanging by the ceiling and some kind of a Elle Driver right in front of you ^__^
As you maybe can guess I tend to draw what I like - and sideburns are a part of it, together with the big noses and other little details
