I finally finished painting the creature from its original sketch I made! I've been done since December but did not make the effort in submitting it on this site.

i draw things like this non-stop. but have never tried painting them (it doesn't go well) any tips? what paints, type os canvas/paper, do you use water, do you paint it all at once? haha thank you

Hi Jessica,
I have not painted on canvas in years, this was done digitally in Photoshop. The great thing about the program is using layers to paint versus using traditional methods because you don't have to start from scratch if you mess up. I usually start with a solid dark color and gradually add more lighter tones. Let me know if you want more tips!
