detailed fullbody commission for ShiningSiria ! thank you so much!finally!! i've finished!! i've got to go in about 10 minutes, so i'll keep this short!
apologies for taking a while, but aha i kept my word on saying i usually finish around a week or less when i start!!
anyways, i'm really happy about how this turned out. it was very good practice, and struggling with huge canvas sizes and stuff was definitely something i needed practice on... i was really surprised by how easier it was to draw too... sketching and lining was literally a breeze??? all right anyways, signing off for now. i'll be back with more things and due commissions and art!

And yes you could improve your overall work by practicing more on body structure and proportions. You do have a good grasp of it but you can see in the image how the figure is twisted a bit unnaturally between the hips and mid section.
Is suggest getting a friend to pose for you "in undies if possible if not nude" and have them do strange posses for only 5 mins at a time (let them choose in order to challenge yourself) and you quickly get all the lines and curves on the page in that time... Speed drawing. After a few dozen of those you will have a better eye for how the body should or even can move in order to add that to your art.
Ok... I think I'm rambling a bit.. sorry.. just let me know if I'm being a bother, I know I can get a bit too into this at times and I love helping talented people. 😊

oh yeah, shoot! (≧▽≦) I did use a reference for the pose, but i suppose it DID seem very extremely unique, but possible??;o; (i should've done a different arms pose, and i'm sure i could've shaded just a taddd bit better ahaaa// see, her main body is generally facing towards the left, so the part of the skirt should've been more clear as her back)
ANYWAYS, thanks for reminding of that technique!!! //gah what helpful advice// they're called gestures right?? ahmg, i need to do those someday ;o;
and of course it's never a bother, although i do understand how some people take offense!! (I have friends like that, must watch what i say TwT) but i suppose i am one of the ones who are open any kind of meaningful comment , and thank you again! (+_+)
