Finished commission for Sabrajay! Jotun Thor and Loki are so pretty. I tried a new style of digital painting on this one. Heelo cx Just want to say, like everyone else, AMAZING ART. I fell in love with this a while ago, and the thing is, that now, after that while, I finally have the idea and courage to write a Thorki fanfic consisting in this idea

Lovely piece! You know, this got me thinking ...
Out of the huge variety of fan-fiction out there, I've never read a fan fiction were, instead of Loki, Thor is taken in. So, switch the story around to where the Frost Giants win instead of Asgard, and Thor is raised as one of their own.
Dunno, just a random thought, not really connected to this actual image, but an interesting concept.

Thor is already 3/4ths Jotun, so not too impossible of a thought, his mother was a jotun female while Odin himself is half jotun

I'm not too comic savy but I don't think the biology of the Asgardian royal family is the same in the Marvel universe. It'd be a cool plot twist though

I actually think their biology never changed, just the fact that some aren't married to their wives and Loki was adopted by thor where as in mythology he wasn't BUT he was thor's brother in arms and best friend

N-No. Thor didn't adopt Loki in the comics or movies. He was adopted by Odin & Friga, and raised as a brother to Thor. Loki in Norse mythology is supposed to be a Blood Brother to either Thor, or Odin, I'm not sure which.Β
If the movies/comics did say that Thor and Odin were Jotun, in one way or another, it'd still make a interesting switch on scenarios anyways.

Thor was Loki's best friend, they went on adventures together...and for...some...reason loki is the father to one of thor's children...not sure if he's saying he knocked thor up or slept with Sif...lol

No problem. Though it seems the first I time I read your comment I missed the Frost Giants win part. I do know a story just like that where Thor is taken by Laufey, there is even a picture for it, though after searching for about an hour I still can't find it. I will keep looking and once I find it I will let you know.
