Description
Inspired by consecutive dreams of the eclipses, both solar and lunar. Coincidentally appropriate for the recent event of a solar eclipse.

I can see down the alleyway, above the residential buildings
The moon, stained by Earth's shadow
A vibrant and glowing red
It was unlike the previous lunar eclipses, for the moon had grown many times its own size
I was observing with a familiar figure, although do not recall who
The both of us stood out in the middle of the street, looking high above
A platform had been outlined along the ground, which we step onto
We are lifted from the ground
Along with ourselves, the earth had released a stairway made of gold
These stairs made their way into the midnight skies, and reached all the way up to the moon
The moon, that so kindly became close to the earth and was now within reach
