Description
Inspired by a dream about an entity who I questioned, and whose facial division revealed a void. During a difficult moment it's strange to see such entities within one's dream, though it is recommended not to speak to them as they can be negative. I made the unconscious decision of doing so, and as a result, was met with the abyss.

In the doorway, I saw the figure stand before me
I come forward to it, and it welcomes me in
The face stares back at me, with hollowed eyes that no light may reach
I can make out the form more clearly now
"Your eyes are so dark," I state as I approach it, "why are your eyes so dark?" I question it
There is no response
Instead, however, I am met with the skinning and division of the face in silence
It opens for me, and I stare into the abyss
It opens for me, and the abyss stares back at me

"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster.
And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you."
