Description
Perhaps resembling in abstract an early mechanical loom, this rework of an older parameter set also represents, in Douglas Adams' words, "the interconnectedness of all things."Apophysis + GIMP

Wow, love the complicated and repetitious details in this work, sir! Most impressively suits the monochromatic palette!

One of my very favorite topics! I love how you've created so many parts within this piece that really are all connected. Tis my new desktop
You're so inspiring. yes, still.

And perhaps in a truly tangled hierarchy, we are each one of those spirals: apparently discrete, yet thoroughly enmeshed. Your words are honey on my morning toast

Thank you so much, and indeed for the
14 spirals in all, and each an invitation to a different universe...

Thanks! That's certainly one of the effects it has on me, perhaps even more so in a previous tweak of the same parameters...

Hey Ian! Congratulatons on the IFDD!
This flame is intricately detailed and has wonderful light. The quiet gradient sort of keeps this rooted in the real world and the flow is lovely.

Thanks Kat! It's interesting what you say about the gradient - I thought of the word "natural" as I was searching for the right one

It took a while for me to fully realise, but I'm on a crash course now! And that's a nice double-comparative... Sounds like Patrick (American Psycho) Bateman: "That's a very nice chardonnay you're drinking."

Thanks! I notice this is particularly sensitive to scale, and looks totally different at thumbnail, full and an intermediate 'sample' size I made: I can see your interpretation more easily on the smaller scales

Thanks Phil! Actually, it's not quite B&W, but definitely a subdued palette

Thanks! I've thought something similar about these parameters in the past - they give a sense of floating above a structure

thought you might like the discription as I wrote it( although it wasn't specifically written to please you just a good by product ) - and I often think of Douglas and his comments - no surprise there really is there
