Description
Let me say now, I hate inking things. But I had a strong urge to ink something last night and I've had this sketch sitting in my sketchbook since the end of last school year because I didn't want to take on the daunting task of finishing it since it had the chains.
Original sketch incase someone wants to see. I think it's interesting to look at personally. [link]
But I'm quite proud of how this turned out. There are some minor anatomy issues but I didn't catch them until I was done inking so I couldn't fix them anymore. I'm not a detail oriented person either so it was frustrating to do the chains. The reason I didn't want to finish the drawing.
I was going to make a character out of it but decided I didn't want to so it's just a fun drawing now.
No, I did not make the chains form a heart shape on purpose. I already had the chains inked and a friend saw it and remarked how it looked like a heart then I saw it. I completely didn't notice until this.
I am also aware that those would not make practical weapons at all. I just drew it for the fun of it. I wanted to make a unique character and I'd never seen a cannibal character so the idea just progressed from there. (no, she's not a cannibal)
There is no way in hell I'm coloring this traditionally if someone is going to ask. If I do ever color it, it'll be digitally. If someone wants to take on that task before I do then they're welcome to though.

I must say, I adore the idea of the weapons. They look interesting. But man, drawing chains must be a pain, specially square-shaped ones.
And besides some anatomy mistakes, the pose isn't bad.

Yeah, I liked it too but a friend pointed out that they'd be extremely impractical and you'd probably die practicing with them before you'd be able to master them. I must agree with him
And they were such. a. pain. It took about 20-30 minutes for each chain so all together about 40minutes to an hour for them both.
I always hate how I notice anatomy mistakes AFTER I've got something done permenantly, like in pen, so I can't fix them.
Thanks much.

Heh, they might be in reality, but notihng is impractical in fiction.
Ow. o.< I can give myself an idea how harsh it is.
Hehe, that's why I never ink/colour my stuff and always leave them sketched on pencil.
And you're welcome. ^^

True.
And except for the some little things I'm really pleased with how this inking turned out though since as I said I normally hate it and that's because I'm normally bad at it. xD

Haha, yeah.
They actually used to be round but then I realized they looked waaaaay too much like chain chomps so I made them more bear-trap looking instead.
