* bow* I havent seen talent like yours from anyone that wasnt over 25. Your paintings are amazing. And my admiration only doubles to see that you are 15.5. You have a future.
By the way this painting is amazing I love it. It has a ccertin realism entwined with abstract. Overall 2 thumbs way up.

I've found that a lot of people aren't happy with what they do, until they get that mind spurt that causes them to release countless hits. For me, that's in music or with my sites. For others, like alyn , it's with the art, but alyn hasn't had much of a problem with that, because I think alyn was sharpening her skills long before she came here. In time, you will see.

oh wow I love the way you did this and I completely agree with everything that aixerona said I just wish I could have said it first... probably my favorite part about this painting (aside from the perspective that it is in) are the keys... I love the way they look... almost like actual Ivory instead of the cheap wood or plastic that most pianos/keyboards are made out of now... I also just really like the highlight on the ball... it just rocks... this is very very impressive and I almost flipped out when I saw that you were my age... this is the kind of work that one would expect from a master and it makes me very anxious to see more of your work

I came across your gallery through the daily deviation you've earned, and must congratulate you on it, I love your style! You really deserved it. This incredible for a drawing and could have been easily mistaken for a master painting. It's kind of hard to categorize, though, as there's a mix of still-life, yet surreal or abstract coloring, and your use of what i'd call a visual "crop", (how you drew a few keys and a ball, and not the entire piano, or keyboard, as it would usually be done...) is original, yet almost classically beautiful. again, your choice of colors is wonderful, the white strokes all over the piece both indicate the falling of the ball and places a feeling of "wind" across the piano, adding to the already surreal feel of this.
it's amazing that you were able to achieve this with watercolour, pastels and pencil. I don't know how else to do your piece justice than to add it to my favorites.

There's my instrument! I love the perspective here ... kinda abstract. The keys look great, your choice of meda really make for interesting textures. How long does something like this take you to do?
