Axl Low.I'm doing this to as training to make characters look like them without having their obvious features. In this case, its Axl's bandanna. However I don't think I was too successful. I asked my friend who guess who it was and first he guessed Bridget(huh?), and then Millia (WTF)...and then he gave up. After I told him he said I have a problem of drawing guys too girly and girls too manly.
What do you guys think?

Since it looks like a girl, is not weird to think it could be confused with Bridgay or Millia

It's a great drawing, but, to be honest, I thought it was a girl. Axl has a different shape of eyes and chin...the chin is a little bit sharper, I think. Another thing is, maybe you should pronounce a little bit more the smile-lines, since he's grinning...but still, it's an absolutely beautiful pic

A very typical Axl smile indeed, but I think that you need to pull the lips just a tad-bit wider for maximum effect. I still knew who it was at a glance, though, so no worries, really.

I don't think he looks anything like Bridget! Too masculine for Millia... I think your friend might not be very familiar with the characters in GGXX... Looks more like Axl than anyone else to me.

That actually does look rather Axl-y. His face is too mature (and hair too long, I think) For bridget. He's also got Axl's proud features and cocky grin o.o I do think that's what he'd look like if he were real. (WHAT?! HE'S NOT?! *sob*)

Actually thought that it was a girl until I saw the neck which showed the Adam's apple. Very sorry, babes... not what you wanted to hear.
But, the reason is that gave me the impression that this drawing was a female was the eyes - which are soft, it looked to me that you added lashes in the enlarge version. *shrugs shoulders*
But it's your style and you're comfortable with it, babes... look at FF7, FF8 and (Biohazard)Resident evil 4. They pretty much designed that in way. So, pretty much there is nothing wrong with the way you draw.
