I wanted to put an extra horse in on the other side of the carousel but it would have been too cluttered..
I wanted the characters to be the main focus as well. Im not sure how i feel about this but not as bad as i could feel. P: It took a long while though, animals are not my niche haha, also! First time (i think) drawing with colours that aren't 'true' o: Practice practice..

Loving the composition, with the gorgeous carousel and the fluffy clouds with the adorable little creatures on them <3 Also love the overall blue theme, it really brings the piece together
You always also know how to use the right amount of detail on different objects, so you never end up making anything too cluttered or overdone.

Just watched the speedpaint- I'm absolutely amazed by that too :') (it gives such a different feel to the illustration). How long did the illustration actually take you? Do you have rest breaks often or do you just work for like, x hours straight o_O?
