Illustration style commission forI was happy to be able to do a space themed drawing again, they are my favorite I think. ^u^
Also... I believe drawing this I realised that I lack in my composition skills, skills to make my illustrations look more 3-dimensional that carry lots of depth. I'm not sure how to go about practicing this so please critique me, haha! β₯

I think one thing you could change is making some things seem smaller/larger than others to show depth. Such as making the orange planet a bit smaller to show its further away from the main object, while making the spoon a bit larger to show that its a bit closer. (but this is only my opinion so please dont take it to heart qwq I still love your illustration)Β

regarding making the whole illustration becoming more 3-d like i think has a lot about the bg to do?
like you shaded the character and clouds etc with a light source but the bg doesnt really follow it, and by doing it i think it would pull the whole drawing together ; v ;
regardless, love the colour palette and chibi, especially her see-through wings!

As for compositional skills, all I can suggest is to play around with line of actions and perspectives. Bring a dynamic element to your drawings, and establish a flow, so that people's eye can follow a general direction.
That being said, I dont think you have to worry too much about it! This type of drawing really suits your style, and with time compositional creativity will follow C:
