Just realised, I don't think I ever uploaded this here?I drew this when the older leaks came out, needless to say I am VERY happy that this Pokemon is confirmed!

How do you get your shading/coloring to be so creamy? I've been trying to figure it out but I've found that you use a light, less-saturated pink, blue, or soft pastel color for reflected light? I think?Β
Have you been considering making a patreon and uploading small tuts? ;v; sorry about all these questions haha

omg thank you!!! and no i haven't considered that yet ahaha! I don't consider myself qualified for that sort of thing!!
But as for what I do.. or TRY to do, is think of everything as more three dimensional and I very often tend to use more complimentary colours, so, pinks and blues hereΒ
the less saturated parts, like on the tail and the bottom of the hair, i think i painted over with the marker tool in SAI (with pink maybe?) , on a low opacity (of course it's better to just KNOW which colour to use to have that desaturated effect, or any rly, but ahaha takes a lot of practice, ill get there someday though!)
Umm not sure if this helps but im trying more to use lots of colours, but still make it look a bit like a single colour (tricky) i tried to do that with the tail and flipper (i shaded it first with pink, then went over with blue, so... theres two colours there for that shading
