It was always weird to me in the japanese version he says something like "breast o firooo" Something to that effect. Loved it when it was used in the first 2 Mazinger Z movies. Though you really see it downplayed in that 2nd one where he has to fight the army by himself. That is until Great Mazinger shows up and starts kicking some butt. Anyway, love the colors!

I sincerely guess that this is the core of your skill, ieko: showing the power or the grace of a scene, a character, without sacrificing any of these two elements, but always paying attention to balance them perfectly, keeping'em in balance.

Kon'nichi wa! My trip was wonderful! I was in Tokyo for the most part, with my quarters near Tokyo Tower. Each day i would explore a different area,starting in Shiodome. I would just wander, though i had a guide book. For example, i went into Shibuya looking for this anime/collectible store called the Mandarake. But i would allow myself to go anywhere i thought looked interesting. I took lots of pictures, found lots of manga, toys and books.
Everyone was very kind to me, very courteous, quick and efficient. It was so clean and neat. the Gardens and parks were beautiful, the buildings Spectacular! I loved the toy stores, with their colorful displays of robots and monsters, and and sexy figures! I picked up some doujinshi...some of those things are really good, and others are unbelievably dirty...
I'm going to go back! If there was one thing that bothered me most about my trip, it was that my Japanese, wasn't good enough.I could make myself understood, but i couldn't keep up a conversation. i guess , lots more practice?
Next time, i'd like to try a different city, and i'd like to visit other things besides just the otaku stuff. I want to see a Hot spring! And i want to do Karaoke but it's no fun by yourself. I want to make friends.
I did get a beautiful blue yukata . I saw a lady being fitted for a kimono, but i had no idea they were so big, or so complex!
But yeah, i thoroughly enjoyed Japan.I'm going back!

It's nice idea to go to other city and look around without otaku staff.

Yes, i had a a very good trip. I'm preparing for next year, already! If i could i'd go right now, but i've used up most of vacation time already, and i want to practice my Japanese more.
I went to the Mandarake in Shibuya and in Akihabara. I hit Akihibara on ny first full day there and returned on the next to last day. For example i bought some Queen's Blade figures from the shop that has Great Mazinger standing guard at the entrance way. You know that one?
I went to numerous Art galleries, and i visited some super fancy department stores, and saw all sorts of temples and shrines. I went to thetheater where all the roles are played by women...i witnessed a wedding, and i had food from many little restaurants. I saw maid cafes and love hotels and it seemed at night everybody wanted me to get a bath and massage at their business. I did and they washed me in places I didn't know i had! The massage was great,too! And still they were places and things i still want to experience.
Well, i've been to Tokyo. What City would you suggest? I'd also like to see a smaller town, or village, and maybe the Ocean? And when i return, i think i would dearly love to go karaoke with you and your friends. What songs would you sing? When i was there, i could hear people singing "Dancing Queen"...

Hi, Ieko! I had a wonderful time in Japan and next year is going to be even better! So many things to see. There just wasn't enough time,and i started before the Sun rose, and long after dark. Very busy.
I see you've returned from your trip to Tokyo. What did you do? Did you have fun? Were you by yourself, or did you go with friends?

Yes,I went to Tokyo in this summer.
I took part in Comiket the biggest event of the anime, comic, game and so on in Japan.
And of course did sightseeing.
It was very fun!!!!
I went with my friend and we saw many friends there.

You went to Comiket? Were you a guest or a dealer? I could see you as a dealer, selling your art! Have you ever done any Doujins? I bet it was crowded! Did you go to Tokyo Sky Tree? Did you do any Karaoke? Next time, i want to do that. I don't like singing by myself...

It was so fun!
After that I visited Tokyo Sky Tree but I didn't go to the top.
Because there were too many people so I had to wait for very long.
I like karaoke but unfortunately I don't have a talent as singer...

Hi!well, i do have some plans for next year's visit. I'll be there longer, and i would like to see the beaches and the countryside. I want to go to a Hot Spring. I always see those in anime, and it seems one episode features a visit to one. I'd like to wander the countryside and look around, take some photos.
I will visit the Sky Tree. I wasn't able to before because it wasn't yet open to the public.
I'd like to go to Comiket, but that's in August right? It's soooo hot...and you say you were there? Were you selling art? Or did you have your own Doujin? How did you do? Sell out? Karaoke...I want to do that!I went in, but i couldn't fill out the form. My japanese writing isn't very good. Besides, i think it's best to go as a group, because i think it's more fun that way. You don't have a lot of talent as a singer? You might...lucky i'm a good singer! We could sing the Dokuro song!
