Description
When I think of the phrase 'deus ex machina' ([link] ), a scene of some random pink bunny popping out of nowhere manifests in my mind. lolA sketchbook sketch a took a little bit too far. Its been ages since I totally covered a page with pencil crosshatch.
Took about 2.5 hours.
Two monster/dragons engaged in a fight only to be distracted by a random rabbit. lolwtf

Love the style of the dragons: they remind me of some outback reptile or a prehistoric lizard. The bunny's face is a perfect contrast to the seriousness of the other two beasties

did you use different hardnesses of pencils, or only one?
i really like how the dark background comes up, so it seems like the dragons go beyond the pages of your skecthbook!

I used two different clutch pencils (or mechanical pencils is another word for them I think) one HB and one B, and I press accordingly to produce different tones

also have you seen donnie darko? the story has a good amount to do with deus ex machina, and the story-line involves a large bunny-man who often pops out of nowhere (nothing close to a normal or pink bunny though)
