Description
NOTICE: PLEASE PUT IN ONLY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I MEAN IT.So this map is basically the State of Israel from an Alternate Timeline; the main PoD is that the British don't limit Jewish immigration into Palestine, and instead push them with greater zeal than before. Throughout the 1930s, it becomes a prime destination for German and Austrian Jews fleeing Nazi persecution. Later, others (like Anne Frank and her family; ITTL the family fled to France and later Britain before moving to Israel after the war) fled the advancing Nazi armies to Palestine, so that by the time the war ends (in 1945; as IOTL) Mandatory Palestine is around 60-70% Jewish.
This comes as an advantage during the Arab-Israeli War of 1948, the Israeli's larger (at least than IOTL) army, as well as general incompetence on the part of the Jordanians and Syrians*, led Israel to seize all of Mandatory Palestine, as well as a large part of Transjordan and the Golan Heights. As a result of the Jordanian defeat, the rest of Jordan merged with Hedjaz (ITTL Hedjaz never merged with Nejd (because of British influence) to form Saudi Arabia) to form the Union of Arabia. Today, Israel is a majority-Jewish state, with significant Arab minorities in the districts of Transjordan and Samaria.
*Also Lebanon did not join the Arabs ITTL. The French decided to make Lebanon a homeland for the Maronites, and after a war with Syria (during which it allied with Israel), Lebanon is now almost 80% Christian, with Shia, Alawi, and Druze minorities, with the Sunnis driven out of the country. Lebanon ITTL is also the only country in the Middle East (besides Egypt; the Camp David Accords occurred as IOTL, but differently) that is friendly to Israel.
------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: Some of the TTL names of cities (especially in the OTL West Bank, Gaza, and Jordan) are basically Hebrew calques of Arab names, or versions of existing Hebrew names. Tulkarm's (Torkarm) is basically a simplifying of its Aramaic name.
------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATES
29 April, 2014 - Added the other districts names for clarity.

Interesting take of the State of Israel.
Although I believe that a better POD would be the one that Operation Valkyrie / Plot of July 20 succeeds in killing Hittler and saving more or less half of the victims of the Holocaust so that they are later migrated to Israel.

Good stuff! You forgot to add Yabesh Gilead in the Transjordan and Katzrin in the Golan Heights.
Also, "jenin" and "tulkarem" are an arabized messed up vers of the Biblical Hebrew "Ein Ganim" and aramaic "Tel/Tur Karma" (=[Samaris is] rich in vineyards) respectively.
Edit: I'd remove "khan yunis" which is another arabic meaningless name (historic identification value-wise) and would replace it with "Sinaiya" ("towards Sinai").

Yes, I'm cognizant of the fact that the Mandate of Palestine also included Transjordan (now just the Kingdom of Jordan). It was already independent of the British mandate authorities at the time of the UN partition in 1948.

It should be clarified that it was British influence in HEDJAZ that led to it not unifying with Nejd

levantine christians consider themselves arabs, historically they were arabs of the ghassanids(from the first century originated from yemen) before the islamic conquest.
today they are calling for an arab nationalism(maybe unstead of an islamic one) , the most famous name is the christian lebanese singer fairouz.

Well, this is mainly due to using a single map of Israel and Palestine as my base.
ITTL, it would be that the Israelis simply decided not to take the territory I guess.

A bit surprised Yiddish isn't an official language instead of Hebrew with the increased immigration coming mostly in two decades.

Well, I'd say I have two minor technical problems with this map:
#1) The fact that the districts containing Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem aren't really named. While I guess they are named after their dominant city, adding numbers explained in the legend would be nice.
#2) The choice of the modern leaders is a bit convergent. I mean both men weren't even born before the POD, in fact Nettanjahu was born in 1949 and Lapid in 1963! Heck, Lapid's father was only born in 1931, so even his life would've been rather different and ATL siblings are rather unlikely.
Other than that, the map looks great (even though I honestly dislike the concept, but hey, I can still praise 1Blomma's Nazi Germany maps, so why not this one, too?).

Well, most of the Arabs who lived there fled (either willingly or not) after the Arab-Israeli War of 1948. Some Arabs were allowed to stay, like the Arab Christians and Druze.

1) The Sauds stay independent, but Hedjaz gets absorbed by the Hashemites
2) Israel is basically the same IOTL. Lebanon is basically influenced by France (also, France retained part of Algeria, especially around Oran). Everything else is basically the same as IOTL.
3) Basically, general incompetence on the part of the Jordanians led to the Israeli takeover of parts of Transjordan. Jordan and the Hedjaz did not unify until after the First Arab-Israeli War.
