Description im still trying my hand at things.... i really want to try doing fakemon. so here's 'sighren', a mermaid.Β

Name: Sighren
Type: Water
Classification: The Mermaid Pokemon
Ability: Run Away / ??
Gender Rates: 80% Female / 20% Male
Evolves into [?? ] when leveled up while Diving/Underwater
- Sighren often stay deep underwater to keep away from predators or trainers, they only ever poke their head up at night for food.
- Despite their shy nature, these Pokemon are seen to be aggressive towards any small fish Pokemon they consider theirΒ  prey.

Name: Sighren (Kanto Form)
Type: Water
Classification: The Mermaid Pokemon
Ability: ?? / ??
Gender Rates: 80% / 20%
Evolves into [??] when ??
- Magikarp often mistook their tails for food and end up latching themselves onto Sighrens, which would cause a unnatural change in them.
- They often use their bottom half to lure unsuspecting Pokemon towards them so they can attack or devour them.

i think i'd leave it purely water type, but i was thinking water/dark since it lurks pretty deep underwater because it's so frightened of trainers (which is also why it's a darker shade) though the "kanto form" was just a weird concept because there's some depictions of mermaids like a fish is literally their lower half, so it's a similar concept of slowbro's shell eating it's tail? but it's magikarp. it's also a lighter tone because this one is a little less afraid and tends to stay closer to the surface.

i might give it a evolution, i dunno? but thoughts???

The Kanto form looks more like a pre evolution.

I like the idea! And I love the name "Sighren"

Maybe it evolves into "Recluyo" - Recluse and Ningyo ( a Japanese mermaid )

ooo recluyo sounds nice!! i was thinking maybe a branch off evolution of one based off a violent siren (water/dark), and one based off majestic fantasy mermaids (water/fairy or still just plain water typing)

but thank you ;v;
