More headcanon!Jack empathizes with Rapunzel's loneliness in the tower, so he does something he hasn't with other humans: makes verbal contact. Though she can't see or hear him, he can manipulate his surroundings, and so he began leaving her notes. He never tells her his full identity though, because true belief is not made through proof, and he wants her to believe so she can see him someday.

You already have the rising action and everything. He starts leaving her notes,
she finds them, than at the end, she can finally see him.
