Description
Ampharos and Azumarill are two pokemon from Johto that I've always adored. They're really close to each other in the pokedex and both feature cute balls on the end of their tails (Azumarill uses its tail as a buoyant float and Amphy uses its as a light source). You wouldn't think a water and an electric type would get along, since Azumarill is at a disadvantage, but as of gen 6, the type changes and mega evolutions have changed that. Now the dual water/fairy Azumarill can take on the dual electric/dragon mega Ampharos! So, compromise.They're a tag team in my game, too! My Azumarill, a bulky attacker, is named Oswald, and my agility mega Ampharos is Mariweather.
In my eyes they'll always be buddies :3

Never thought of them being frienemies, you do have a valid point. That being said, I like their designs, especially Mega Ampharos

Thank you! And even though I specifically listed Ampharos as being mega, he's normal in this picture, just to clarify. But I really want to do a mega Ampharos because they're so fabulous!

Woah, really? I thought I was being clever when I first named him because it was a really obscure reference to a rabbit. I almost did name him with a Z cause it's Oz for short. And then I battled someone who asked me if I named him after the cartoon character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. So I guess that works too.
