I’ve waited so VERY long for this moment, and it is finally here. I watched the season five finale of Steven Universe tonight. A lot of things happened, but what got to me the most was seeing Nephrite and Jasper, whom I love so much, finally get uncorrupted. Jasper was corrupted almost two and a half years ago, and I‘ve been desperately waiting for her return ever since. I‘ve done art, sculpture, cosplay, and more notebook doodles than you can ever imagine. Waiting for this moment. And I absolutely lost it when it finally happened.Related content

During this scene I just kept asking myself "where's Jasper where's Jasper where's Jasper" over and over again... and then she finally appeared with her nose gem and her helmet... god I was so happy.

Same!!! I was desperately looking for her bubbled gem, and then when she finally emerged from the water I was so incredible overwhelmed. I don't think anything in the entirety of this show has ever given me a bigger reaction, haha! I'll be completely honest, I cried a bit, cause I'd waited so long for this moment and I wasn't expecting to see it so soon, but I'm glad we didn't have to wait any longer <3

Ugghhh I know! I’ve been waiting for her return ever since 2016 and just the brief few seconds she finally showed up again was euphoria I felt like no either.
Sigh... It’s gonna be so satisfying knowing we’ll see her again in future episodes!

Oh, that makes sense! The show does a pretty good job of keeping track of the seasons, but I hadn't been paying as much attention to that as I probably could've. Of course, when it came to watching the show in real time, I have very vivid memories of first watching the episode Earthlings back in 2016, so this really has been a long time coming for fans of Jasper
