So the protagonist has been called by a government to defeat a powerful, imminent threat, battles it at night, is rejoined by teammates partway into the fight, gets gravely wounded, and then we cut to a kid in a rural town far away from the situation.I wish I could say I planned that parallel, but I really didn’t. 🤔
