You did a beautiful job! I am currently hand painting my own ulthwe autarch- although I mean him to be a character- and I can only hope that it turns out half as good.

On a side note, I purchased mine assembled online, and mine has many of the same issue, gonig as far to say that it looks like the wings were squished flat in some places -_-;. It seems like this model is usually bought in some state of misfortune hahaha.

He is a bit of a shame really, the mini arrived in pretty poor condition assembled. See the graininess around his waist and gun arm? That's a mixture of glue and bad casting

I cleaned him up as best I could but I think the only way to fully sort him out would have been to break him apart, clean the joints and reassemble, but he was only meant to be a tabletop standard paintjob so I ended up just doing what I could to draw the eye away from it. Then ended up bringing him to character standard anyway, hah ><
