This idea kept following me now for quite some time...i rly wonder where kubo is going to bring us!!
i love the story so much at the moment..never been so nervous about the next chapters!

this is pretty awesome. though I hope he gets his bankai fixed or something. Nothing against quincies, because they can be extremely badass and shit, but a non-shinigami Ichigo just isn't right

I believe he'll have to embrace all sides of himself.
I don't really think he'll be a quincy, because, unlike Shinigami who can become it later in their life/afterlife, quincies have to start training from an early age. And really, Isshin wouldn't have helped his son get back his shinigami powers if he wanted him to have quincy powers and Masaki would have trained him from an early age.
I believe this is all about Ichigo embracing all parts of his heritage, his shinigami side, his quincy side and his hollow side.
The hollow attacks Isshin and defeats him, I am assuming, and as we have learned from the Fullbring arc, a Fullbring gets their powers when their parents are attacked by a hollow before they are born and the wounds contain residual traces of the hollow's reiatsu. This is why Ichigo's final hollow form resembles Aizen's Vasto Lorde hollow experiment and why Shirosaki was so powerful and different from the hollow sides of all the rest of the Visards.
On a related note: Aizen totally planned everything out! He is such a troll!

Definitely portrays the duality of the situation Ichigo is in, as well as the struggle he's no doubt going through to determine just who he is.
I personally hope he remains a Shinigami, even if he gains Quincy-like abilities or something. He's done too much to get his powers back, it would be a shame to have him lose them so soon.
Regardless, the art's already in my favorites. Love it!

Just what ive been wondering recently. What is Ichigo? Shinigami? Quincy? He's definitely not human. The latest manga chapters have been great, Isshin is a Shiba for crying out loud
