The Ætherian War was right before the Terrakure split from Earth creating their own home planet. They fought with Humans against the Ætherghist that had rose up against Humanity to overthrow the planet. Terrakure being on good terms with Humanity, helped drive the Ætherghist into the core of the Earth where they now live in tenative peace with Humanity.

It wasn't a request. It was a scene from storyline I've been working out for my new game that I'm DMing here and there when school lets me. The main character, the guy, is a player, and the two others are one of my old characters and her husband, one of the games once great evils.

I like the feel of it, like it's a small glimpse of something much larger (the smoke trail in the corner adds to this). And I really like the sort of sketchy, sort of fuzzy look to this, almost like it's a memory of an event rather than the event itself.
I think you did a really great job with this! The background is especially nice
