A tree full of budgies at Zoo Atlanta. This aviary was awesome, so many budgies flying around. Quite a lot of pretty blue ones decided to perch on this tree. I know I have some friends on here who love budgies, so I absolutely had to take a picture of it for them. Hope you guys enjoy!Related content

So cute. They added one of these budgie aviaries to the zoo in Indianapolis, but I haven't gotten to go to the zoo during my last several visits up there.

I, somehow, have never visited the budgie aviary at Indy. Indianapolis Zoo is what I call a "home base," the closest AZA facility to me. I try my hardest to visit at least once a year. I haven't made it yet this year, but I'm hoping to. Next time I go, I'll make sure to check out the budgies.

They have had budgies there since 2013 as far as I know. I have pictures from when my brother's family went, but I didn't go with them.

YES budgies everywhere. I 'm so glad more zoos are adding these aviaries. It didn't used to be like that because they thought budgies were common and everyone knew what they were. But now that's changing.

It was amazing. If you ever go to Atlanta again, you should check out the zoo. Pandas and budgies. They also have raccoon dogs, and may be the only zoo in the US to have them.
Yes I'm glad to see budgies as well. Budgie and lorikeet walk-through aviaries are always a highlight in any zoo. You can even feed them!
