For Polska-Malowana 's contest,
What do you like the most in Poland?

tl;dr: what I like the most is that wherever you go, you can find a place that reminds you of childhood- as if whole Poland is your hometown and a magical time machine.

Back in February this year I moved out to another city. After spending all my life in Cracow, I was both excited and worried about Wrocław. It truely IS different, but somehow, some places made me feel like I was still back home. It's hard to explain, just with the similarity of some streets and houses, you could think that just beyond that turn there will be your "old" bus stop or school. And it really helped.

Then there came May and June, two busiest months for me this year, when I was working for 12 hours a day and was too tired for anything. One day with my friend we decided to take a longer route back from work, through the park/forest. The narrow path led across wild fields... and it felt like we are again 14 and are going back from school together as we used to do. Or like I was 8-9 again, walking through the field near my grandma's house- as I used to do with my sister (...because I was too afraid to go alone :"D ). Or like I was in highschool, visiting my best friend in her hometome, taking a long walk by the riverside. It gave the same, destressing feel of summer vacations and freedom, that I could forget I was at work whole day.

What I like in Poland the most is that probably everywhere you can find places like this- little time machines that bring you back to your childhood, and instant teleports that lead you back home ♥

In my entry I tried to include that summerish vibe of lazy, relaxing late afternoon, surrounded by polish beautiful nature~

Also, I killed my hand- I have no idea why I decided that drawing every leaf separately would be a good idea. But I like the final result, so I guess it was worth it.
