Have I mentioned how much I love The Ritual? I think I have but let me reiterate; I love The Ritual. This creature is one of the most bizarre and haunting things Iβve seen in a movie in a very long time. I loved it so much that I nabbed the novel the movie is based on and devoured it (metaphorically) in a single day. I recommend both. The movie is an excellent adaptation but the novel has some key dfifferences that I personally found to be more impactful than the movie version of events. In any case Moder is a cool as heck monster and I wish we could see more things like her.Related content

I absolutely adore this interpretation of the design; the anatomy is gorgeous, and I love the small details put into it, especially around the legs and claws!

Thank you! I used a maquette from the film's preproduction as a reference for the details. The book is excellent and quite different towards the end from the movie.

I love the Ritual so much! I accidentally met the author at Walker Stalker back in March and got a signed copy of the book. The creature has such a neat design!
