Please check out my series and let me know if it is of interest to you:

It is a dystopian / cyberpunk series.
Sort of a 1984 updated to a future social world.
Best wishes.

Any way you can make this available for download at 3000x1800? I would love to use it as my desktop background.

Awesome, but the ship looks too much blended with the bg.

Versalife AND what I presume to be a tachikoma...this is one of the coolest things ever.
There aren't enough DX/GITS crossovers...at least not that I've seen, but this does it so subtly, and that makes it even cooler.

Hehe thanks. The mech was quite inspired by the one in the original Ghost in the Shell movie, not really a big fan of the series

Its a great book, also liked the 2 successors, but have been searching for equally good cyberpunk novels since then
Thanks!

Now that's what I call a render time! Wow! 37hrs of "done yet?" LOL. The kind of detail that I love to see. Aren't there any lights on in the other buildings in the background? Good concept and great work!

There are some, but they didnt really come out well with the fog and distance blur

Maybe they should have been pushed more then. But I will say that maybe it fits with your scene description, that maybe there is a curfew for the less affluent people of the city. Either way, it's good.

Hm no dont think i did... dont really have a clue when it comes to animations

awesome!
one day for GI... fine
I hope you saved the lightsmaps.
I want to see an animation!
(only half hour per 640x480 frame)
interesting duality, that:
(as default for me) Sprawl is Gibson's trilogy <-> VersaLife is DeusEx corporation

My god. A masterpiece in the eyes of all future lovers. And I do notice the robot in the corner on the roof. Does remind me of the ones in Ghost in the Shell. All i can say is GREAT work. I love the city, I love the aircraft, i love the image!

Hehe, the robot looks pretty close to the one in the first movie i think. Not that it wasnt intentional
Thanks alot!

37 hours to render? damn the longest thing I rendered was about 9 hours. Anyways this is pretty cool. I think it would look better if it was darker though. The VersaLife from Deus Ex is a nice touch

Hehe yes had to include a Deus Ex reference one day
Hm i had renderings taking way longer than 37 hours, thought it was ok for 3000x1800
