Description The shape was not drawn by me.
It belongs to a good friend of mine named Toay.
I used the shape for perspective to practice shading.

The way the picture is shaded is as if her entire body has the same depth of a "V" with the point facing the viewer.

The light would be coming from the left, and then when it hits the middle point the rest of the body is a shadow.

This is obviously incorrect; however, it's slightly closer than the previous shading style.

The body has shape and 3D depth. The breasts for example which are closest to the viewer stick out and have a mostly global-esque shape. If a light source is up above her head and shining down on them, the top will have highlights, then there will be a fallout down to the sides where it will softly get darker, then the bottoms of them will be in shadow.

Thinking in more advanced perspective with the light you have now, there will be a slight highlight on the left sides and on the tops, then it will go around them and the right side will be dark.

I'm using those as an example because they're like spheres and spheres are the most basic shape you can think of for shading. Take that theory into your mind and apply it to the rest of the body. Look up references.

Look at this picture I did for an example:

It's not perfect of course, I'm still learning myself; however, take that kind of shading into consideration. Look where the highlights and shadows are.

I am much too frustrated with photoshop to tinker.
But I will take your advice next time I work on shading.

Yay for re-readable posts haha.
