I wasn't aware you could edit one arm without affecting the other in Spore. Cool.

Out of curiosity, what PS effects did you apply to get this? Really gives the creature a truly "stone-ish" feel to it. Very nice.

at high resolution i applied a Accented edge filter on a duplicate layer, and set the layer to about 75 percent. I repeated the process again except with the watercolor filter, and set the opacity of that one at about 20 percent. I made another layer on top, filled with a custom texture, set it to overlay and set the opacity to 20 percent. That's the gist of it.

Thanks for sharing the process, it's intriguing. Very, very nice~ I've yet to experiment much with duplicating layers and applying different filters to them, but I really ought to. Very awesome creatures, by the way.
