Description "Since the founding of the KHI, we have tried to find an independence in our weapon manufacturing and conception, producing our own top lines of exclusive weapons several times in this chase of uniquity and originality. Of many of these designs, the furthest our efforts went was with the E-Series, a set of design weapons addressed at a specific key market, built with international trading and with west specifications.

Being of Russian origins, of course, we wished to approach the simplicity and efficiency of weapons of our land of origins. Weapons which would be sturdy and reliable.

And with this, ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present you:
The K-series"
- Major Igor A. Kutuzov

The K-Series is a complete serie of weapons of all types, able to cover all the needs in the field, and the more specific needs and specification of the KHI armed ops and other armed forces which would deem appropriate to adopt this weapon line, which focuses on 4 main aspects:

Reliability: The K-Series have passed the most harsh torture and strain tests to ensure they will function in the most harsh environments, and under the most abusive user.

Simplicity: The K series may not be as simplistic in design and function as the venerable AK series, but it might as well be as such - being easy to maintain and dissasemble, making for an excellent troop weapon, easily fixed by regular troopers without specialist training.

Logistics: The K series is designed with compatibility with the AK line design, able to mount the regular AK/Saiga line magazines, while handling and functioning in a very similar way to the Izmash firearms, making for an economic adoption.

Modularity: The K series weapon feature the modularity and interchangeability that is found in the western
products, featuring interchangable trigger groups, modular rail systems, flash hiders with bayonet 4 lugs mount for Quick deatachment of silencers.

П-1/P-1
Haundgun

"Quick on target, robust and with a nice grip, and the P-1S can fire the armor piercing rounds with steel core, in narrow spaces that extra penetration can save you even against armored targets, so yes finally something small enought for me yet with enought power to deal some good AP damage"
- Ilena "Rush" Petrescu

The P-1 (Пистолет-1, translated: Handgun-1) it's a 9x19mm handgun with lower polymer frame, with a design that point mostly toward a good control while rapid firing infact the profile of the weapon is as low as possible to keep it closer hand of the shooter creating less recoil vector as possible allowing for tighter grouping while firing the pistol rapidly, other features of the handgun are the slide RIS to mount fast aquisition collimator sights (red dot), the lower RIS for any kind of laser designator and flashlight and a threaded barrel to mount easly a supressor if needed.
The P-1S (Пистолет-1 Cпециальный, translated: Handgun-1 Special) it's a rechambered version for special forces that need extra firepower infact the 9x21mm SP-10 (7N29) rounds with steel penetrator make the weapon far more efficent aginst armored targets.

Caliber: P-1 9x19mm, P-1S 9x21mm
Mag: 20+1 (both on P-1 and P-1S)

the PP-2 (Пистолет Пулемет-2, translated: Submachine gun-2) it's a 9x19mm Submachine gun with stamped steel and polymer construction with an extendable stock and a small front grip that can be lowered, these features plus the fire rate permit to the weapon to remain controllable even in full auto fire for the whole 40 (or 20) rounds stored in the magazine. making it an ideal and accurate weapon compared to other firearms of the same class.
The PP-2 also featuers a two stage trigger that permits to be even quicker to answer to threats at various ranges, an ambidextrous side-folding charging handle and a threaded barrel to mount easly a supressor if needed.

ПП-3-1/PP-3-1 and ПП-3-2/PP-3-2
Submachine gun

"it's comfortable yet a bit unbalanced on front in the PP-3-2 version yet that's due to the weight of the 55 rounds, and having a mag so big it's really helpful as well as the fact you could still use the 30 rounds mags on the PP-3-1 if you wanted to"
- Grace Sikorsky

the PP-3-1 and PP-3-2 (Пистолет Пулемет-3-1/Пистолет Пулемет-3-2, translated: submachine gun-3-1/3-2) are larger and heavier than the PP-2 but the longer barrel the folding telescopic stock and the RIS handguards permit to mount accessories and sights that make the PP-3-1 and PP-3-2 ideal for close quarters engagements, the PP-3-1 use 30 round mags derivated from the Izmash PP-19-01 "Vityaz" ones that are easier to carry than the PP-3-2 ones, on the other hand the PP-3-2 with 55 rounds it's a powerful close quarters weapon able to saturate areas with intense fire, or able to be used on prolonged fire fights, the trigger group of this weapon it's modular and can be easly replaced on the field, to have different fire modes.

Caliber: 9x19mm

This weapon series have been created to be compatibile with existing mags and equipments so yes they do look like existing weapons as they are upgraded versions of the firearms you mentioned

Except the Sv-11 is based on the Orsis .338 and the A-9 is based on the A-91 assault rifle

in the sv-8k k isn't for короткая(korotkaya, short) but for крупнокалиберная(krupnokalibernaya, large-caliber), as well as svdk isn't shorter than svd but uses a larger caliber round

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IgorKutuzov In reply to alpha512 [2014-06-05 22:40:54 +0000 UTC]

the word korotkaya = short for what i know it's referred to the fact it's the range that it's actually shorter than the standard SVD, infact the Brenneke it's made to pirce heavy body armors at 100 meters

I think that also because "Large caliber", firearms classification wise, usually Imply the fact that it's an antimaterial round such as the 12.7x108mm

alpha512 In reply to IgorKutuzov [2014-06-06 05:53:37 +0000 UTC]

You're welcome, and that's nice to meet another softgunner I've to say that the lines of your weapons are really interesting.
These last days, I was almost always playing with my KWA MP9. Love GBBRs And also, I really wish that one day, a PP2000 will be made in airsoft (the PP-2 charging handle reminded me the PP2000 )

well first of all thanks again for all the compliments on the K-series ^^

oh i do own a KWA MP9 as well it's the only GBB that keep functioning

PP-2000 wise... amen to that i will sell a limb for a GBB PP-2000

oh and my favourite replica ? really hard to say but... I know it's one of the most common support weapons (i hate guns that absolutely eveyone else use) but the Classic Army Mk46 SPW it's my weapon of choice no one beats the mobile supression it can deliver... yet it drastically reduce my endurance after 5 hours i'm pretty much KO yet within those 5 hours... better to keep heads down guys... because forecast say... rain ! rain of BBs ! XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Falkii In reply to IgorKutuzov [2014-05-19 18:31:31 +0000 UTC]

Haha Yeah, support is pretty awesome. I wanted to do some C-mags in GBB to put on a WE G36E to get at least 100BBs in the mag...But not enough time in my hands to do that.
And I also hate getting the most common weapon out there.

I'm one of the fastest rusher in my team because I'm using short replicas. I'm always used as a scout, VIP Bodyguard or intel transporter (I'm often the number one target ). But I'm also tired at the end of the day because running around is pretty exhaustive!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

IgorKutuzov In reply to Falkii [2014-05-20 22:00:17 +0000 UTC]

different kind of exaustion, same satisfactions being a rusher isn't my play style yet i feel glad when we win even if i didn't actually taken out a single target... because being a gunner at times means also that... shoot a whole BB bag at bushes to let others do the job... but i don't feel inferior... instead i feel part of a mechanism... a gear that spins with others to lead team to victory ! ^^
