a photo taken with the digital camera (item) in MGS4 during the excape on Drebin Stryker in south america...the power armor can be finded just in that scenario... too bad they are quite intresting...

That's actually pretty cool! In fact, I have no doubt the US military (or Japanese military) will create a similar machine for combat by 2020. By 2030, it'll be like Iron Man and the machine from "Aliens."

Snake the hero of taking pictures during the coolest moments. Truly when I played the game(My first of the Metal Gear series as will as for my PS3) I was confused about βOldβ Snakeβs place on the battlefield as his mission sent as a βUN observer.β So I had it in my mind that taking pictures was going to be in one of the missions.
Also Snakeβs βOctoCamoβ has artificial muscles that helps his aging body do the things he once doneβ¦ So it could be called a Power Suit.
In Metal Gear Solid: Rising you may get to face off with more power armored foes. My fingers are crossed.

I use powered suit and powered armor interchangeably. As the technology standpoint they are one in the same. Snakeβs power suit uses artificial muscles that can limit the damage so they act as armor, but must rely on snakeβs stealth and its low profile to keep it in one piece. The "power armor trooper" that uses artificial muscles encased in armor, and those unit was use mainly for the "β¦carrying and operating heavy artillery and transporting supplies over long distancesβ¦" and you can see this in the design as the operator is very exposed.
But I get what you mean; it is just that I see "OctoCamo" powered suit > Pieuvre Armement Power Armor.
Me if I canβt get a "powered suit" I would take a Gekko with a Radio controller. "Run run from my R/C Mech cowards! Ha-ha

puah ! Gekkos are damn ugly (in my opininon) they just look like the turret of an Abrams stuck on top of two big bizzare fleshy legs...
i know that military gear dosn't count on beauty but gosh the Gekkos are just... so ugly...
