The words around the bunny on the whiteboard include words like "fiber feeder", "frontal jointer", "plow" etc., so my guess would be that the rabbits were degraded to the level of farm machinery and the anthro rabbit feels offended by that.

now that's outta da way love the detail going into this classroom, specially the two guys bout to prank bunny guy, yeah even during debates (maybe SPECIALLY during debates) that kind of stuff happens, just makes it feel less of an "epic discussion" and more of a "bizarre yet still normal class debate" which i guess was what you were going for, in which case i say you pretty much nailed it
