Yeah, too bad that co-op isn't really that fun, you kind of have to experience it solo. But playing alone it is pretty awesome.
This piece is from around four years ago, so I'm not sure, but I remember I did it as an experiment when I was bored at work while working in a game development studio. I bet I got inspired by something specific, but I honestly don't remember. But it turned out to be pretty fun, so I did a few more

yeah, when you're already in game there should be an option to add a second player, but it can't interact with anything outside of fighting

What program do you use to make your awesome pixel images in? Are they vector images? If you're drawing at the pixel scale, how do you scale the drawings up while retaining crispness? Sorry for all the questions. Great work.

Just Photoshop at pixel scale. Then I enlarge it using the Nearest Neighbour method, which keeps the hard edges of the pixels instead of blurring them.

Just photoshop. Made a rough sketch, shrinked it, zoomed in really close to make the pixels visible and drew the actual thing over the sketch dot by dot.

najpierw robię sobie zwykły szkic, pomniejszam do wysokości parudziesięciu pikseli i potem nad szkicem rysuję pikselek po pikselku
