Good thing that you didn't watch the movie it was a misrepresentation of the classic astro. manga and 80's anime are awesome tho.

And, yes, it reminds me an old cover of an original comic, where Atom was flying with the rocket in one of his arms. And the world was not so sweet around him, of course, but I think he deserves lot of sweetness, and you did it

Astro's pose just... makes this sooo much more over-the-top than it was by itself. It's PRECIOUS.

And it's a refreshing take- almost like "old meets new", but in a different direction.

Ohh, I love all the detail in this! You made Astro look very cute here! All of the clouds and stars remind me of a mix of old-school Nintendo's Japanese box art and Lisa Frank merchandise, which is a good thing for me.
