This is a lovely and quite bright piece of work that expresses two things: Firstly that you haven't died, secondly showing to many that your talents have grown a great deal and that your skills for traditional mediums is beyond amazing.
What really grabs the attention is the lovely exploration of brush work and textures selected to give the overall presentation of the work a sense of realism. The brush splatter to the rough and clean brush strokes all intwine beautifully and it shows that you are breaking out of your comfort zone to add more to your drawings. One good example of this is the dry brush strokes to reflect the appearance of sun rays. This approach shows simplicity whilst being energetic in what you can do.
