When you were 5.

“Good morning Mom.”You say to your mom who was cooking breakfast.

“Good morning sweetie.”Your mom replies.

“What’s for breakfast?”You ask.

“Oh the normal eggs and bac-”You mom was cut off from someone entering the house.

“Daddy!”You say excitedly.

You dad works as a military soldier and rarely comes home.

“Hello sweetie.”You dad says while picking you up and kissing you on the forehead.”What are have my two sweeties been up t-”Your dad was cut off by a gun fire into the house.Your dad barely dodge the bullet that came shooting towards him.

Someone kicked open the door with a gun and shot at your dad again,but this time he wasn’t so lucky.The bullet hit your dad on leg.He fell to the floor and gasped.You looked at the man who fired and tears fell down your face to see your neighbors face.

Your mom got in front of you and held out her hands so that you would not get shot.Your moms head turned and looked at you.

“Go to the back door and open it then run as fast as you can away from this house.”Your mom said in a whisper.You nodded quickly and started running to the back door.When you opened the back door you heard other gun shot followed with your moms scream.Tears streaming down your face you run out the door and run into the woods as fast as possible.You kept running for about 20 minutes and then stopped and looked behind you and saw only trees.You looked at you (h/c) braids and noticed that they were all messed up.You turned back and kept running away like your mother said.You kept running until you found a village.You looked around and saw a couple walking to there house.

“Exuse me ma’m.”You say to the woman of the couple.The couple turned and saw you with cuts on your knees and a couple scrapes on your face.They rushed over to you and picked you up,then brought you to there house.

“Why are you like this?”The woman said worried.

“Well..”Tears start flowing out of your eyes.”There was this killer who shot my dad and my mom told me to leave so I left and ran as fast as I could!”You say crying and hoping into the womans arms.
“Shhhh it’ll be okay and you can stay here as long as you like.”The woman said while giving you a warm smile.

“R-really?”You asked to see if she wasn’t lying.”

“Of course right honey?”She looked over at the man.

“Right.”The man said calmly.

“Thank you!”You say happily.

“Well sence you didn’t know how to protect yourself is it okay if we train you to become a hunter?”She says politely.

“What’s a hunter?”You ask not know what a hunter is.

“We’ll tell you when you’re older.”

“Well then why not.”You say not caring what a hunter could be.

End of past.

It’s been 7 years since that and you’ve been trained to do incredible things you never knew you could do.

You were walking around the village looking to see if anyone needed help pulling up crops or anything,and there was nobody so you went back to your house and sat in a chair.That’s when your step mom walked through the door.

“Sweetie I think this is the year you take the hunter exam.”Your step mom said straight forward.

“Alright,but can you please now tell me what a hunter is?”You asked wanting to know.

“When the test is over.”Your step mom said.

“Fine…”You sighed

“Well anyway you need to start running to the boat now or it might leave you.”

“Okay okay I going.”You said while grabbing your (f/w) (Favorite wepon.) and running out the door.

Time skip

You were on the ship looking around at all the people.Most of them where old,or just weird looking.You spotted someone with blonde hair that didn’t look to old.That was it.

“Hey!Hey!”Someone said from off of the boat.

You looked over and saw a boy that looked around your age running towards the boat.

“Stop the ship!”The boy screamed.

You looked over at the other people that looked like they didn’t care.You looked back at the boy and noticed another man running with him,and they turned the other way?

‘What a weird idea’ You thought as they turned away.The boat kept moving and the two boys came into sight you saw the younger one throw out a fishing rod and grabbed the man and jump,the fishing rod pulled them in and they landed on the ship.

“Cool.”You mutter while looking at them in surprise.

Time skip sorry!

“There’s going to be a storm.”The boy said.

“How do you know?”A man asked.

“The birds they’re sending out warning calls.”The boy replied.

“Amazing!”You said out loud.

The boy looked over at you and smiled.

“You think so?”He said grinning.

“Yep!”You say with no nervousness.

“Thanks.”He said while rubbing the back of his head.

When I said your welcome people were bringing down the sails and preparing for a storm.We all went ahead and walked into the head courters to stay safe from the storm.

Storm.

You sat in a corner and felt the ship rock back and forward.Lots of people were running back and forward and getting sick,but the blonde kid,the kid that’s your age,and the dude that tag along with him were just sleeping or having fun with it.This was nothing to you,you don’t have motion sickness and you had a strong grip in your corner.You were waiting for the storm to end,because these people screams were annoying.

The boat suddenly stopped rocking and was in still water.

“So lets see who passed this test..”The captain said while looking around.He looked at you,the blonde kid,the kid that jumped onto the boat,and the guy who tagged along.The captain just sighed and left.

30 minutes later you arrived at everyone’s stop.You got off the boat and smelt the fresh air.

“Smells nice doesn’t?”A voice said beside you.

You jumped a little and looked to your side and saw the boy who jumped on to the boat.

“My names Gon nice to meet you he said while getting in front of you.

You now just realized how short he is.”Hey my name is (Y/n).”

“Hello (Y/n).”He said.”Would you like to come with me and Kurapika?”Gon asked.

“Who’s Kurapika?”You asked.

“He’s over there.”He points in the direction of the blonde kid.

“Oh well sure why not?”You said.
