Yes, you're correct there, but there ARE artists out there who follow the 'free to use but not to sell' mantra. Usually I wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
But this is Mello's own personal species, and she did NOT say it could be sold, so where is the harm in asking? How is that a stupid question? Oh yeah, it isn't.
I'm trying to protect an artist from getting into someone ELSE'S bad graces. And technically, suuure you aren't selling the lineart specifically, but you're selling a design on lineart. So when someone buys this design? It'll be on that lineart. You're friend just made profit off of. It's a package deal. In case you didn't understand that, it means that you're making money off both the design and the lineart.

Other people allow people to sell the designs they make on their linearts --- however, some do not. Mello did not state "yes you can sell these" or "no you can not" which is why I'm asking Mello right now.
Don't sit here and jump in, sweetie, especially if it's with completely irrelevant points. Allow me to pick it apart:
1. The source of the lineart does not state whether or not it's okay to sell. THIS DOES NOT MAKE IT OKAY TO SELL
2. Actual money goes into points. 80 points = 1 dollar. Yes, it's still profit.
3. I'm not the one who started flaming-- I asked a legitimate question, it turns into a full-blown out of fucking proportion argument on this poor girl's page. First off, hint of advice, never(well not never) cuss during comments. I look down who cuss like this(though I've seen way worse) and it may help in some arguements. But arguing a point that you could started off by noting mello yourself with the question, it comely useless cussing and is a filler word.
