This was a very quick work. Here's to the millions and billions of Sonic recolors, or "fanchars" as their creators would like to refer them to. May they continue to thrive in population, as I cannot do anything but watch (in pure disgust) anyway. XD "Shannon" here is the typical recolor, obviously that of Shadow The Hedgehog, who probably would have wished he did die in Sonic Adventure 2 if he saw this image. XD

This is a pure joke, and I'm not making fun of those who actually crafted individuality into their characters. And it's okay to comment on "Shannon's" ugliness, because that's somewhat the point here. Pink Shadows-- I mean, FAN CHARACTERS, do not equal coolness!

OK. You know how much I like you art. AND THIS IS SO DAMN TRUE!!

But Fan charas aren't always recolours! Recolours are a complete lack of creativity, yes. But there are a lot of very nicely designed fan-characters and I don't think it's correct to put them all in the same bag and say ALL fan-charas are ugly or not original just because Recolours are.
I have some fan-characters myself. I did my best and spend a lot of time designing them, fixing their appearance and personality and making their background stories, so that they'd be "creative" enough, even thought for a lot of people they'll surely be some UGLY and USELESS fan-charas.

Just wanted to say that I really liked the picture, don't misunderstand me. Sonic's expression is the best ^^
